Therapy with Teens and Young Adults
What comes next? Who am I? Who do I want to be?
Trying to figure out the answers to these questions while feeling the weight of everything on your plate can be extremely overwhelming. It can lead to feelings of anxiousness, sadness, loneliness, and put a heavy strain on your relationships.
The teen and young adult years present unique challenges, specifically as it pertains to difficult life transitions, identity exploration, self esteem and the influence of the environment, including peers and family, on social and emotional development. I feel passionately about providing a safe space to process and understand your experiences and emotions, while also focusing on problem solving and skill building. In therapy, we work together to explore patterns of thinking and behavior, uncover and highlight your unique strengths and navigate the increasing independence that comes as you approach adulthood.
